Deviousness |
It's not like you can just grab a Batman villain and say 'this is my version'; there is a continuity to be followed. Besides, Catwoman is a flirtatious high class thief with an unprecedented record; I find that those ears, that shirt, that make-up, and particularly the painted whiskers, are more than humiliating to the character.
Now, on the other hand, if that were meant to be Holly, then it would fit a lot more. But still the whiskers are utterly wrong.
I don't mean to say that this is ALL bad; you clearly have anatomy and shading at a good level, it's mainly the page distribution, dynamics and flow that let you down. And that Catwoman version.
I'm not actually trying to insult here, I like to give constructive criticism. I suggest you look at some action mangas such as Naruto, Bleach and Tsubasa; I believe we can all learn a thing or two from them. Although with this detailed style, perhaps The Killing Joke or Hush would appeal more to you.
